In 2009, I started making winter hats from scraps of fleece and repurposed thrift store clothes. I loved experimenting with different styles and fabrics, and outfitted friends and family with my creations. In 2011, I brought the first batch of ten hats to my family’s hardware store in Intervale, NH. The hats sold out within a couple of days.
Ten years later, I have found that many people enjoy sporting my wacky head-wear! I now use high quality, warm fleece to line the hats. I make hats, headbands, and a lightweight neck warmer I call a “neckie”. I still make everything myself from my basement workshop in Conway, NH. I am constantly finding new fabrics and rarely make more than a handful of items with the same print. The result is an eclectic mix of limited edition hats that are as unique as they are functional.
